WONNACOTT - January 12th, Mrs. Bertha Meyer Wonnacott aged 57 years, 3906 -
1A Street S.W., widow of the late Francis E. Wonnacott. Born at Priddis
Alberta, she resided at Pine Creek after her marriage and taught school in the
various surrounding districts. She lived in Calgary since 1938. A member of
the Southern Alberta Pioneers and Old Timers Association. She is survived by a
daughter, Mrs. M. A. (Joyce) Wade, Bashaw and one grandson; Her father,
Christopher G. Standish, Calgary, two brothers, Robert H., Calgary; John,
Midnapore. Private Services were held at "The Little Chapel on the Corner"
(JACQUES Funeral Home), today at 2 p.m. Rev. D. Rapin MacDonald officiating.
Cremation. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Canadian Cancer
Society.
