ROSS - May 16th, James (Jim) Adam, aged 77 years, Midnapore, Alta., passed
away on his farm, suffering a heart attack while burning brush on his farm.
Born in Cromdale, Morayshire, Scotland, coming to Calgary in 1910 and moving to
Midnapore the same year, where he was a foreman on the Sparrow Ranch and in
1920 he took up his own farming. He was a great lover of horses. His wife
predeceased him in 1927. Survived by two sons, Gregor, Midnapore, and Jack, of
Calgary, Four grandchildren, Two sisters and one brother in England and
Scotland. Services at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance", Wednesday 1:30 p.m.
Rev. John MacLeod officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
